What is Unistone
Unistone® is a compound stone (quartz surface), produced by the well-known
BRETON-technology. Unistone® consists of 90 % to 93 % natural quartz bound
in a resin. Therefore, the material is extremely hard and resistant. Unistone® is
certified for use in kitchens (NSF-certification: no possible damaging components
are released when in contact with food). It is an ideal surface for kitchens,
bathrooms, floors and walls. On top of that, Unistone® is available in several
colour-combinations that present many decorative possibilities: from kitchen
tops to designs for furniture. Unistone® is only available in slabs.
Finishes
Unistone comes in slabs of 300 by 140 centimetres. Depending on the colour, Jumbo slabs can also be an option (330 by 165 centimetres). The thickness of the slabs can be selected: 3, 2 or 1.2 centimetres. There are three possible finishes:
- Polished: even stronger colours and a nice gloss. The natural veins and structure gain an extra dimension.
- Velluto: a velvet, matte but still glossy finish. It is also very maintenance-friendly.
Unistone Nero Galactica and Unistone Bianco Galactica are only possible with a polished finish.
Applications
Unistone is maintenance-friendly, not porous and sustainable. It resists most chemicals and types of dirt and is certified for use in kitchens. As a result, Unistone is perfect as a countertop in kitchens and kitchen islands.
Unistone also works perfectly in humid circumstances, such as for wall cladding in showers or in the whole bathroom. The applications indoors are countless. It is also popular as a tabletop or reception desk.
Colors
Just name any colour or shade: everything is possible. Unistone is available in 34 trendy colours, from snow-white to pitch-black and everything in between. The vast colour palette focuses on natural nuances with visible or camouflaged structures.
