Product Care and Maintenance

Cambria^® is handcrafted from the finest natural quartz by American craftsmen and women to offer unmatched beauty and durability for life. To keep your Cambria looking and performing like new, follow these simple guidelines and precautions. :-

Too Hot to Handle

All natural stone surfaces, including Cambria, can be damaged by sudden and excessive heat, especially near the edges, as well as direct and/or sustained heating on the top. Always be sure to put closed-weave hot pads or solid trivets under hot pots, pans, griddles, electric frying pans, slow cookers, and roaster ovens before placing them on Cambria.

Wipe-and-Go Convenience

Cambria is maintenance free and requires no sealing or polishing. Simply wipe the surface with a soft cloth and warm water, and mild soap if desired, to keep your Cambria spotless.

Never use bleach and abrasive powders or scrubs like Comet^®, Soft Scrub^®, or S.O.S.^® pads. In addition, never apply any sealers, penetrants, or topical treatments to Cambria. Such products will cause the surface to appear dull or inconsistent. If you wish to use a cleaner for things like dried-on spills, see our list of Approved Cleaners

Leave the Chemicals in the Closet

Corrosive chemicals can damage any surface, including Cambria. Do not expose Cambria to strong alkalines, acids, free radicals, oxidizers, or other similar chemicals or cleaners (whether high, neutral, or low pH).

CAMBRIA SLAB SIZES

Cambria-slab-sizes

Cambria slabs come in 2 different sizes These are standard & jumbo-sized format.

Jumbo maximum slab size = 3350 x 1660. (when trimmed 3300 x 1610)

Standard maximum slabs size= 3100 x 1410. (When trimmed 3050 x 1360)

Please note from the above sizes that all slabs will need to be trimmed before manufacture, giving a maximum size in one piece at 50mm less in length & height than the original size of the slab.

Cambria slabs are available in 2 different thicknesses, 20mm, and 30mm. While 30mm is the most popular for kitchen worktops there is a growing trend of 20mm worktops for the sleek, modern, German-style kitchen. 20mm is also usually used on walls for upstands and hob splashbacks.
