Statuario Quartz – Marble style quartz slabs

Statuario is the most precious marble varieties found in Italy and commands the highest prices. It has distinctive veining that can range from gold to gray. As Marble is soft and therefore likely to scratch and stain, it’s not the most suitable product for use in a kitchen. Fortunately, with the leap in technological ability to manufacture quartz to a highly realistic standard, its a far superior product than its natural marble counterpart.

While we sell many different versions of this colour from several suppliers,  our stock Statuario quartz is the most popular material due to its competitive price. With its natural-looking bright white background and irregular darker grey veins, it’s a compelling choice. The veins have detail running through them so while a solid color, they also have a beautiful definition that adds to the realistic look.

Slabs are available in sizes of 3200 x 1600 but need to be trimmed. The maximum size is usually around 3150 x 1550, perfect for a large island unit.

Available in both 20mm and 30mm thickness, this colour is perfectly matched for traditional style shaker units. This colour also works very well with modern and sleek handleless designs.
